Lieberman: We've improved Israel's standing and image in the world
Outgoing Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman posted a goodbye message on his Facebook page on Wednesday night, saying the ministry under his leadership "has led to an improvement in Israel's standing and image in the world."
"When I entered the ministry I said the Foreign Ministry needs to stop being the Ministry of Palestinian Affairs and start dealing with promoting Israel's foreign relations. We've succeeded at that," he said.
"Alongside with maintaining and strengthening our most important relationship with our big friend the US, we've developed new directions as well," he added.
