A former top aide to Osama bin Laden faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced after his conviction in the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in East Africa.
Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan is set to sentence Khaled al-Fawwaz early Friday.
The attacks in Kenya and Tanzania killed 224 people including a dozen Americans.
