Appeal approved: Harsher sentence for Golani soldier who forced Palestinian to drive him

The Military Court of Appeals approved Monday an appeal filed by military prosecution which called for a harsher punishment for a Golani Brigade soldier who forced a Palestinian to drive him to an outpost near the Yitzhar settlement.

The soldier was sentenced to four and a half months in prison, a rank demotion, and will have to compensate the Palestinian with NIS 5400.
