Ministers no longer need entire government's approval to fly overseas

The government approved on Tuesday a new policy on ministers' trips abroad, according to which ministers will no longer need the entire government's approval to fly overseas - the prime minister's approval will suffice. The government, however, will still be informed of any such trip.
Deputy ministers, meanwhile, will only need the approval of their minister to travel.
The new policy is meant to address the issues of trips not funded by the government, which require the legal opinion of the attorney general, and emphasizing the difference between work trips and personal trips.
