Outgoing Foreign Ministry Director : We have few friends in the world
"We have few friends and supporters in the world. We need to create a new strategy to raise that number. The Foreign Ministry has no left or right, only patriots ready for any mission." said outgoing Foreign Ministry Director General Nissim Ben Shitrit.
Today marks the first day on the job for the new Director General Dore Gold, who previously served as Israel's Ambassador to the UN in the 1990s and a political advisor for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
