Remains of Israeli killed in Germanwings crash on way to Israel

The remains of Eyal Baum, the Israeli businessman who was killed in the Germanwings plane crash in March, will be brought to Israel on Tuesday night after a long search for victims in the French Alps.

"A month ago we were informed that they started identifying the DNA of the 150 who were killed," Ronnie Baum, Eyal's brother, told Ynet. "The company decided to check all of the remains that were found at the same time, and that is why we waited. Yesterday they told us Eyal's coffin was on its way to Israel."

Baum will be buried on Thursday at 11 am at the Menuha Nechona Cemetery in Kfar Saba.
