French prosecutor: Co-pilot who crashed Germanwings jet had vision problems, feard blindness

A French prosecutor says that the co-pilot who apparently crashed a Germanwings jet intentionally into the Alps had vision problems, and feared going blind.

Marseille Prosecutor Brice Robin told reporters Thursday that Andreas Lubitz feared that his vision problems would put his job at risk.

Robin said Lubitz had seen 41 doctors in the five years before the March 24 crash. All 150 people aboard were killed.
