Senior officer in Northern Command: 'We have no intention of taking part in the fighting in Syria'
A senior officer in the Northern Command said to reporters that "there was absolutely no truth to the rumors that the Druze are being massacred in the northern Golan Heights controlled by Syria and the frantic calls to save them."
"We have no intention of taking part in the fighting in Syria. The Syrians belong in Syria, and Israelis belong in Israel."
