Syrian opposition: Heavy barrel bombing in Hama province

Syrian regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in al-Latamneh in the northern countryside of Hama and another one on the vicinity of al-Sathiyyat area in the countryside of Al-Hasakah.

The helicopters also struck areas in the villages of al-Mansoura, al-Houta and Jeser Bayt al-Ras in Sahl al-Ghab in the northern countryside of Hama.

Barrel bombs were also dropped on areas in the villages of Zaqqum and al-Qahera in Sahl al-Ghab the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

Barrel bombs have been the topic of much discussion in the international community, with over 70 states calling on the Syrian government to immediatly stop using the weapons, which cause massive and indiscrimite damage.
