Teen Britons arrested for theft at Auschwitz museum

Two young Britons were arrested at the site of the museum of the former Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp for theft of several items belonging to the deportees of the largest death camp installed during the Second World War by Nazi Germany in the south of Poland, local police said Tuesday.

"The two Britons born in 1998 and 1997 were presented Monday at the police station by the guards of the Auschwitz museum and are in custody," spokesman of the police of the Krakow area (south) Mariusz Ciarka told AFP.
