Ryanair says no emergency landing in Warsaw, hoax threat

Ryanair says no explosives were found on a plane in Warsaw that was the subject of a bomb threat call.

The airline said in a statement Thursday that Warsaw Modlin Airport "received an anonymous hoax call this morning" about an explosive device on a Ryanair aircraft due to take off for Oslo. It said a security sweep found no explosives and the plane will proceed with the flight. Spokesman for Warsaw police, Mariusz Mrozek, said that a 48-year-old man had been detained for making the call.
