Orange and Partner reach agreement ending recent polemic

French telecom giant Orange and Israeli Partner Communications Company reached an agreement allowing Orange to regain control of its brand within 24 months, Orange said Tuesday in a statement, thus putting an end to the recent controversy.

This agreement provides for payment of a maximum of 90 million euros to Partner in the event of cancellation during the next 24 months, whereas, until now, Partner was expected to use the Orange brand name until 2025.
