The special military court at the Kirya in Tel Aviv decided on Thursday to lower the former Givati battalion commander Liran Hajbi's rank and give him a two months suspended sentence.
Hajbi was convicted of five counts of inappropriate behavior, some sexual in nature, towards a female soldier under his command, May Fatal.
Hajbi, whose rank was lowered from lieutenant colonel to major, pleaded guilty to the actions attributed to him as part of a plea bargain. He was also dismissed from the army.
