Swedish security police say they have arrested two Swedish citizens on suspicion of terrorist offenses and murder in Syria in 2013.
Security Services spokeswoman Sirpa Franzen said Thursday that the arrests had been made and a warrant for a third suspect issued after "coordinated searches" in the southwestern region of Goteborg.
Franzen declined to identify the suspects or give any further details.
Swedish news agency TT said the suspects were two men in their early 30s, and that the alleged crimes took place between April and July two years ago.
