Palestinian suspect flees from police, falls to his death
A Palestinian suspected of weapons trafficking died Monday morning in Qalandiya after being shot in the leg and falling from a roof with Israeli forces in hot pursuit.
Soldiers with the Yamas anti-terrorist unit entered the refugee camp to arrest the suspect who the IDF said responded violently and was shot in the leg. The Palestinian then fled on foot, leaping from roof to roof, eventually falling to his death. No soldiers were wounded in the encouter.
