Netanyahu: We are acting to prevent destruction of settlements
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded Tuesday morning to an eruption of violence in the Beit El settlement near Ramallah saying that the government is acting to strengthen the settlements within the boundaries of law.
"Our stance on this issue is clear," said Netanyahu. "We oppose their destruction and we're acting through the courts to prevent this step."
