High Court postpones demolition of synagogue built on Palestinian land
The High Court of Justice postponed on Sunday the demolition of a synagogue in the settlement of Givat Ze'ev in the West Bank, which legal NGO Yesh Din claims was built on private Palestinian land.
The court ordered the organization "Ayelet HaShahar" to evacuate the synagogue in July 2014, after the organization failed to prove that it bought the land, and ordered the local council to demolish it.
But judges has since extended the time given to execute the order, and on Sunday gave the respondents another extension until August 17.
