Former Italian MP appointed Israel's amassador in Rome

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday appointed Fiamma Nirenstein, a former member of Italy's parliament, as Israel's ambassador to Italy. Nirenstein headed the Italian parliament's committee that examined anti-Semitism in the country. She moved to Israel in May 2013 and received citizenship. She will give up her Italian citizenship with her appointment.
