ISIS bomb in Kurdish town in northeast Syria kills at least 11

Syrian activists say an Islamic State suicide bomber has targeted a predominantly Kurdish town in northeastern Syria, killing at least 11 people.

 

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says Wednesday's explosion happened outside a local Kurdish police station in the town of Qamishli. It also says more than 40 people were wounded.
