Tel Aviv's landmark Maariv bridge demolished

Transportion Minister Yisrael Katz flipped the control switch and blew up the Ma'ariv bridge to begin the Tel Aviv light rail project. The blast, which was broadcast live by Ynet, was projected on three giant screens at three locations near the bridge, where hundreds of spectators had gathered.
