NIS 945 million budget for special needs accessibility at schools

Education Minister Naftali Bennet presented the ministry's new program, "Second Chance" in cooperation with the Finance Ministry, which seeks to make schools more accessible to students with special needs. In the coming year, NIS 135 million will be invested in building acoustic classes for the hearing impaired, as well as elevators and ramps for handicapped students, and digital tablets for visually impaired students.

The program is set to receive NIS 945 million in the next four years.
