Hirsch denies int'l investigations reports

Brig.-Gen.(res.) Gal Hirsch, a controversial candidate to be appointed as Israel's new police chief, denied Saturday reports that international investigations were underway into his past business dealings.

Hirsch also said, "I absolutely don't intend to remove my candidacy."
