Yesh Atid MK Shai Piron to resign from Knesset
Former education minister MK Shai Piron (Yesh Atid) plans to announce on Wednesday morning that he is resigning from the Knesset for a senior position in education.
Piron will be replaced as a member of Knesset by Elazar Stern, who is next on Yesh Atid's party list.
Piron will make his announcement at a special Yesh Atid meeting at 11am Wednesday, where party chairman Yair Lapid and incoming MK Stern will also speak.
