Knesset approves ministerial appointment of Ofir Akunis, Yaakov Litzman

The Knesset approved on Wednesday the appointment of MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) as the minister of Science and Technology, replacing Danny Danon who was appointed Israel's Ambassador to the UN.
MK Yaakov Litzman (United Torah Judaism), who until now served as deputy health minister, was made minister.
