Jordanian officials: Israeli fence wont hurt our sovereignty
Government officials in Jordan have said that "The security fence along the border will be built on the Israeli side, and will not harm Jordanian sovereignty," in response to the start of construction work on the fence this week.
With That said, the officials stated that, "Jordan strongly opposes the construction of the Israeli security fence in the Palestinian territories in the West Bank, as these territories are occupied and as such cannot be built in by Israel according to international law."
