A car bombing in a Baghdad neighborhood killed 11 people and wounded 42 on Monday, Iraqi officials said.
The police officials said the parked car exploded near a vegetable market in the Iraqi capital's southeastern neighborhood of al-Ameen. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion, which also damaged several cars.
Medical officials confirmed the casualties.
In a separate incident, a roadside bomb killed three people and wounded five in Baghdad's northeastern district of al-Shaab, according to police and medical officials.
All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.
