Saudi Arabia refused Iran's request for a meeting of foreign ministers

Saudi Arabia has refused Iran's request to hold a meeting in New York between the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and the Saudi foreign minister, Adel Al-Jubeir, reported Al-Hayat.  

Diplomatic sources claim that the Iranians wanted the meeting to focus only on the Eid al-Adha  disaster and not on regional issues such as Syria and Yemen.
