Iron Dome intercepts at least one rocket in southern Israel

A Code Red siren sounded in Ashdod and communities in Hof Ashkelon Regional Council on Wednesday shortly after 10:45pm. A second siren was heard shortly after. Witnesses reported hearing loud booms, suggesting that rockets had been intercepted by the Iron Dome system.
