Due to the security situation: Restrictions on entry to the Old City of Jerusalem

Due to the security situation in Jerusalem and the terrorist attack in the Old City, it was decided at the end of a series of consultations between the government, the police and the other security forces that over the next two days entry to the Old City will be permitted to Israeli citizens, residents of the Old City, tourists, business owners in the Old City and students who study there.

The entry of Muslim worshipers to prayers on the Temple Mount will be permitted from the age of 50 and up with no age limit for women, and entry shall be only through the Lion's Gate.
