Abbas instructs security personnel to halt escalations

On Monday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met in Ramallah with the heads of Palestinian security forces, instructing them to “not give a chance to the Israeli plans, whose goal is escalate the situation and drag us into a cycle of violence.”
In other words, Abbas instructed security heads to work to stop the escalation of violence recently seen in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
