Around 1000 demonstrate in Kfar Qassem, stones thrown outside village
Around 1000 demonstrators have gathered in Kfar Qassem in northern Israel to protest at Education Minister Naftali Bennet's removal of Islamic Movement flags from the village.
Outside the village, near Route 5, dozens of protesters threw stones at security forces and set tires alight. As a result, a fire broke out in a nearby brush field. Firefighters arrived on the scene in order to put out the flames.
