Police presence to be beefed up in Jaffa; forces to be sent near south TLV mosque for fear of right-wing reprisal attacks

Following the degenerating security situation in Jaffa, Tel Aviv Police are increasing their patrols around Muslim holy places, in particular mosques. A mobile force will be placed close to the Hassan Bek mosque in south Tel Aviv out of fear of reprisals from extremist Jews. Large police forces will continue to patrol the area.
