Sudanese authorities: 70 young Sudanese have joined Islamic State

70 young Sudanese, men and women, have traveled to Syria and Libya in order to join Islamic State's ranks, Sudan's Interior Minister Abdel Rahmane confirmed on Monday.

The media had already reported that several groups of Sudanese students, some of them with Western passports, had gone to Syria via Turkey in order to fight with Islamic State, but this is the first time that Sudanese authorities have given a precise figure.
