Concrete barriers placed in some of the entrances to Ras al-Amud and Jabal Mukaber in Jerusalem

Concrete blocks were placed at the entrance to the East Jerusalem neighborhoods of Ras al-Amud and Jabal Mukaber, as part of the encircling of the east of the city. Security checks are being conducted in the other entrances to these neighborhoods.

The Cabinet also decided to set up checkpoints at Isawiya and Sur Baher, but due to technical reasons they will only be in place for several days.
