Five people killed in attack on Shi'ite site in Saudi Arabia

The death toll in a gun attack aimed at a Shi'te Muslim gathering hall in Eastern Saudi Arabia on Friday rose to five people, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya TV reported.
Another state-run channel and a resident said earlier in the night that an attacker opened fire at a checkpoint run by local security volunteers and was killed by police in a gun battle.
