An IDF soldier from the Givati brigade was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack in Hebron Saturday evening, just before a Border Policeman was nearly stabbed at a checkpoint in Qalandia in the West Bank - the fifth attack of the day.
A Palestinian attacker was shot and 'neutralized' by two other soldiers on the scene of the attack in Hebron and was said to be in serious-critical condition.
The wounded soldier was evacuated to the hospital.
The attacker in Qalandia was also shot and killed by security forces.
The attacks mark the fifth to take place on Saturday, including three in Hebron.
Two stabbing attacks were foiled in Hebron and another in Jerusalem in the morning, two of them against Border Police forces and one against an Israeli settler.
In one incident, also in Hebron, a Border Policewoman was attacked by a knife-wielding female at a base near the Cave of the Patriarchs
Earlier in the day in Hebron, an Israeli settler shot a Palestinian trying to stab him on Al-Shuhada Street.
In Jerusalem, Border Policemen shot a suspcious individual who responded to questioning by pulling a knife and trying to stabe the policemen.
Attackers were killed in all three incidents.
