13-year-old terrorist discharged from hospital, put under arrest
Ahmed Manasra, the 13-year-old terrorist who went on a stabbing rampage with his 15-year-old cousin in Jerusalem's Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood last week, was discharged from the hospital on Sunday evening and put under arrest.
Earlier in the day, his remand was extended by eight days. He will remain under arrest until a decision is made on how to handle his case, with his young age posing a challenge for prosecutors.
Manasra was hospitalized in light to moderate condition following the attack. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas claimed Manasra was "executed" - even though the boy was alive and being treated at an Israeli hospital.
