Palestinians to Security Council: Al-Aqsa attacked daily
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki on Thursday told the UN Security Council that it was responsible for demanding that Israel stop its "illegal actions". Al-Maliki said during a discussion about tensions in Israel that the current problems stem from a lack of involvement by the international community. "Our people and especially our children are being killed by the Israeli occupation," said Al-Maliki. "Al-Aqsa Mosque is attacked on a daily basis by Israelis, including official bodies and settlers' militias."
