Palestinian official: Netanyahu agreed to freeze building in settlements

Saeb Erekat, the secretary general of the PLO Executive Committee, said Saturday that US Secretary of State John Kerry had told Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas that that Prime Minister Netanyahu had agreed to freeze building in West Bank settlements.

Erekat said Abbas had also requested the formation of an international investigative committee regarding escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
