More than 1,000 Hezbollah fighters killed since start of Syrian civil war - NGO

Eight Hezbollah fighters have been killed in battles with rebel forces in the villages of Idlib and Halab in Syria, Al-Jazeera reported on Sunday.

More than 1,000 members of Hezbollah have been killed since the start of the Syrian civil war in March 2011, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
