"We are currently working on the development of an application that will allow every citizen, with a push of a button, to alert security forces, so that they get to the scene faster and are able to neutralize the terrorist," Netanyahu said.

"Since the beginning of the terror wave, the Security Cabinet has held eight discussions. We are working to defuse the sensitive issue of the Temple Mount to lower the level of violence. We have been working on the issue since day one. In addition, the security forces are working operationally in the neighborhoods of Eastern Jerusalem, unlike in the past," the prime minister added.

Netanyahu spoke of the stricter rules of engagement, and said that the decision to place a brick wall between the East Jerusalem neighborhoods of Armon Hanatziv and Jabel Mukaber is "not a policy-changing decision. This decision is purely tactical, such as adding lighting on the roads, protecting public transport, setting minimum sentences for stone throwers, making the northern branch of the Islamic Movement illegal, confiscation of property and facilitating the obtaining of licenses for weapons."

He also referred to the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority and said that "on the one hand, Abu Mazen is riding the wave of terror with words of incitement while he runs his security forces, in other words, he is acting in the West Bank but provoking acts in Jerusalem. Abu Mazen is not really interested in direct negotiations without preconditions. He threatens to dismantle the Palestinian Authority and takes action against the State of Israel by appealing to international organizations."

On the agreements between himself and US Secretary of State John Kerry, Netanyahu said that "there is no change in the status quo. The Muslims will continue to pray on the Temple Mount, and non-Muslims will retain the right to visit the Temple received in 1967."

Regarding the Supreme Court's decision to freeze the demolition of terrorists' houses the prime minister said that "the court does not act maliciously concerning the demolition of terrorists' houses and also does not work for the sake of Israel's enemies. The government took the decision to demolish terrortists' houses and it will be carried out as close as possible to the event to strengthen deterrence. All we are asking from the court is to make decisions faster, even if ultimately the decision is contrary to our position."
