Israel Air Force fighter jets attacked two Hamas terror bases in the Gaza Strip on Monday night in response to a rocket fired at the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council earlier in the evening.
According to Palestinian reports, the airstrikes targeted two communications antenas used by Hamas' military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades - one in the central Gaza Strip and the other in the south, near the Dahaniya airport.
There were no Palestinian casualties in either strike.
