Riots occurring along Gaza border fence; IDF returning fire

Three riots at three different points along the Gaza border, each with around 100 Palestinian demonstrators, began on Friday afternoon. The protesters are throwing stones and setting tires alight, rolling them towards the border fence.

The riots are taking place in the north of the Strip, next to Shuja'iyah neighborhood; in the center of the Strip next to Al-Bureij refugee camp; and in the south of the Strip next to Khan Younis.

IDF troops are using riot dispersal methods to break up the demonstrations, firing live ammunition at the lower bodies of three central agitators. At least one hit was identified.
