Israeli monthly minimum wage to be raised to NIS 5300 by December 2017

Finance Minister Moseh Kahlon approved Sunday an increase of the monthly minimum wage to NIS 5300 by December 2017.  

Overall wages are expected to climb in four stages - the first occurred in April this year, when the monthly salary rose by 350 shekels, from NIS 4,300 per month to NIS 4,600 per month. The second is set for August 1, 2016 when the salary will be raised to NIS 4825. The third is scheduled for January 1, 2017, with an increase to NIS 5,000. Finally it should be increased to NIS 5300 by December 2017.
