Germany closing in on almost a million migrants for 2015

Germany recorded in October 181,166 migrants applying for asylum, a new record, bringing the total number since the beginning of the year to 758,473, said the Ministry Interior Thursday.

If arrivals continue at this pace during the last two months of 2015, the latest government projections of 800,000 to a million migrants in 2015 will be significantly exceeded.
