Suspect in attack against head of Rabbis for Human Rights has detention extended by 3 days

A court has extended the detention of the suspect in the attack against Rabbi Arik Ascherman, head of Rabbis for Human Rights, by three days. The suspect's attorney, Itamar Ben Gvir, said that the boy's confession is inadmissible as the interrogators did not allow him to consult with a lawyer.

Around two weeks ago, a Jewish settler tried to stab Rabbi Ascherman while he was taking part in a Palestinian harvest. The rabbi was not wounded. The suspect was arrested earlier on Sunday.
