Iran's president extends condolences to France
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called French President Francois Hollande on Tuesday to express his condolences in the wake of Paris attacks, a French official said.
Rouhani pointed the "crucial importance to fight against terrorism and Daesh with all our might", the official said. The Iranian president used the Arabic name for the Islamic State group.
Both presidents agreed to quickly reschedule a visit by Rouhani to France. Rouhani had planned to come for a two-day visit on Monday and Tuesday, but canceled following the attacks.
