Swedish PM: We were 'naive' about threat from IS

None

Sweden's prime minister says the Scandinavian country has been "naive" as nearly 300 people have travelled from Sweden to fight in Syria or Iraq since 2012.

Prime Minister Stefan Lofven says "maybe it has been difficult for us to accept that there are people in our midst who sympathize" with the Islamic State group. Lofven presented proposals Thursday to increase monitoring computer communications, add more video surveillance and tighten passport control in the wake of the Paris attacks. Sweden's security service, SAPO, raised its terror alert to the second-highest level Wednesday, saying it was looking for a man it said was preparing "for a terrorist offense" who had entered Sweden this week.
