US military advisers arrive in Syria
Official Kurdish sources announced on Thursday that US soldiers had arrived in Syria in order to assist in the war against ISIS. The Lebanese Hezbollah-affiliated network Al Mayadeen reported that 50 soldiers and officers had arrived in Kobani, which is northern Turkey near the Turkish border.
US President Barack Obama said a few weeks ago that 20-30 Special Forces troops would arrive in Syria to advise the Kurds and other anti-ISIS groups.
