Arabic graffiti found scribbled on easyJet aircraft fuel tanks
Low-cost airline calls for employees to take extra precautions after the graffiti was found on a relatively secure portion of four jets in France, sparking fears of a more sinister plot.
According to the report, "The graffiti was found daubed next to fuel tanks on four jets parked at French airports."
Company employees and crew were reported to have been instructed to increase vigilance and take extra precautions after the graffiti was found on the fuel panels, an area of the jet which is among the most secured.
easyJet has not released the content of the writing, but the incidents have sparked fears that a more sinister plot could be in the making, according to the report.
The graffiti comes after weeks of perpetual terror scares in Europe, including one involving an EL AL flight, 338 which was set to depart Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport for Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport at 11:30am on Thursday. The flight was forced to abort a takeoff and delayed for several hours, after a suspicious vehicle with Belgian license plates was seen in the vicinity of the takeoff runway.
Special Dutch police forces, aided by a helicopter, searched the area for suspects. The search was called off after about an hour and the airport resumed normal operations.

The flight was carrying 214 Russian passengers and three Ukrainians, the Egyptian cabinet said in a statement. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared Nov. 1 a national day of mourning as a result of the incident.
